I own a few pieces of both. I own the uniform of a medical officer for the fifth army who served in Africa and Italy and won the bronze star. I can give you a link if you would like to see it!

What I like about this grouping was the man had the medical department at Creighton University named after him and he was also the President of Nebraska Board of Surgeons. Also the person I bought this from bought it from a person who found it in a dumpster!

Another thing that came with that was a 3 piece German medical kit. I will also show you a picture of what I picked up today.

hi gents. in refference to the pony fur back packs. i recently sold one with the life rune ( Y ) on the flap. mine was RZM marked and very small. i assume that would have to be HJ. with no RZM it would be luft. thats my understanding any way. i hope that helps ?

You have some great pieces there! What other decorations did he receive? Was he a WW1 veteran as well?
