    Pilot display

    Hello everyone,
He is a small pilot display that I recently put together to show at the request of the owners at an air show in Suffolk, England. The mannequins are a bit rough but it did the job!
    Regards,
    Andy

Hello Andy, great setup. Is that an origional Luft button up sweater? Mike, fine setup also, very desirable. Best, Bill Bourque

                      Gene,
Arms were shorter in the 40s...

Thanks for the nice comments everyone. The mannequins were provided by the airfield and their arms did look slightly freaky. Unfortunately, I do not own a mannequin.

Bill - yes, it is a real luftwaffe button up jumper. It is darned in a few places including the cuffs, the waist and under the arms. It has definitely been worn but as you know these jumpers were worn after the war to keep warm and are very hard to find. I don't know which, if any of the three buttons to the neck are original. Any idea what they should look like?
                          Regards,
                          Andy
