The emphasis here is on the blades and the accoutrements. The navy dagger is a postwar assembly of original parts including a genuine damascus blade. I can post detailed pictures if anyone is interested.

Here is a pic of the obverse blade showing the damascus pattern and the Raeder dedication.

I also want to explain that I'm a dagger/sword collector concentrating on display for photo theme displays. I guess, thats the particular niche I elected when I started collecting. I know my blades as well as accoutrements, but I have not the foggiest when it comes to medals. Therefore, I usually buy high quality copies of badges and medals and spend the money on daggers and swords. At least that way I know what I have. It still has taken me several years to find a decent U-boat badge copy with diamonds. I also want to add that I have many medals and badges that I was told were originals which I had bought at a reasonable price early on at gunshows or at Manions. Thus, I have to apologize to the medals connoisseurs among you.

As a KM collector I about fell out of my chair when I saw your KM honor dagger! What a thing of beauty that is, and I love your sword too. I need to get a KM sword myself. Does your example have the red and green glass eyes? Beautiful edged weapons!
