Last one, here is a shot of the whole wall area. There is absolutely ZERO space left on the four walls of my office on which to put anything else! When people come over and we show them my office, my wife's comment is usually: "As you can see, my husband hates the color white, so he has made a good effort at covering the walls from floor to ceiling in here."

Interested in candid/private Hitler, KIA, and Holocaust photos. Also any AH related memorabilia--silverware, linen, crystal, china...

Glad to see you're doing well! Shoulder blades are way overrated anyways.

Great looking collection, and well displayed. Do the Housing Office people ever stop by? I'm sure a greater part of them would completely think you were off your rocker...

Keep up the good work & great posts.

Unless it was nighttime, or the weather was bad, and you were running out of gas - then it was a sweaty nightmare, like a monkey f*ing a skunk.

Hank, thanks for the kind words. Yes, I do on occasion have people stop by...mostly the Oceanic Cable guys when the internet or phone service is not working properly (more and more often), I get some odd looks and generally point out the balanced display of US and German stuff and that calms people.

When I went to the frame shop to pick up the Hitler picture, the manager told me that in all his years, he had never heard more reaction from a project. The workers would have it out working on the frame or something and people would come in, see it, and he said that the responses ranged from: "Shock and disgust that anyone would want that in their home" to "WOW That is really cool, it must be worth alot!"

            Ekman:

Did your Hitler items come with that case, or did you but it separate?

I'm looking for a case similar to that for my daggers

Ah, I wish I was where you are in Hawaii. Beach, sand, surf, ladies, and all the loco moco one can handle

Great items, thanks for showing them. And thanks for solving the mystery of AH's missing shoulder blade, I've often wondered about that.

Fantastic! I also have an "informal" napkin from the FuhrerBau and a calling card. The napkins are beautiful, I must agree.

I cant post pictures, but mine is the photo that appears on Bill Sheas website...it has the little stain on the eagles breast. At first I was wary of it as the eagle design is the first of this style I have ever seen (slightly curved wings, mimicing the eagle design on the front of the FuhrerBau). However, it is beautiful, and I think the design is far superior when you see it up close, to the squarish wings on other napkins Ive seen.

(The other thing, if you buy this napkin, and there are a few left, Bill may write in his COA that they were found at the Brown House. Thats not true. He will also write that they were bought by his picker. Thats also not true. He bought these pieces himself. I was kinda disturbed by what he wrote in his COA and how he wrote it. He confirmed in an email that he was actually the buyer. I cant see any reason for lying about this. )

Any way, I digress. Your calling card.....can I ask how did you come by it and how do you know its authentic. I love it. I have a card I bought off another dealer (not snyder) but I doubt its authenticity...quite a bit actually. It passes a number of basic tests; its not printed using an older style printer..no dots, no color matrixes under magnification. There are no desernable "banding" marks under magnification which come with a laser print. The font is from the Kunstler family of fonts and one that was developed in the twenties..The last test is a blacklight, but I must wait to do until after august...yet I still dounbt its originality ...how did you satisfy yourself that your card is original?..mine has a different design to yours.

Sorry for thye long note here. Im new to all this and really trying to solve all these questions by myself. Any info on the Napkins and calling cards would be most appreciated. Cheers, Scott
