    Fabio,

Thank you to all guys for your very kind words.
I feel a big commotion because I really loved him and I have lost him in a very cruel way (Alzehimer).
But I am proud of sharin his exemplar life with all the ones who trust in honesty and good faith!

                  the Pin

This is the official enameled pin of the same Aero Club.
Please note the perfection in a pin that is so rich of things and measures not more than 2 centimetres

                      In the Airforce

After takin the civil pilot certificate, dad ask for goin in the Airforce: and they say YES.
So he started his military pilot adventure: we are in the end of 1938.
Pilot military school started on January 1939.

                              Hi Fabio,
Great thread . Your father looks really dashing in both his aviation & seamans uniforms.
It's great also that you are so proud of him and shared these pics with us, thanks.
My father was in the merchant navy during WW2, I have a picture of him in his uniform at 16 I shall have to post it too, along with the binoculars he brought home with him, obtained from a German navy POW for 20 cigarettes!!!!.
