Well, after collecting for about a week and a half this is the very beginning of a collection which I hope has a long life ahead of it.

I know my stuff isn't in any display cases yet but i'm getting around to it. I've only been officially collecting for a week and a half.

.:. Sharpshooter Qualification Badge; "F" on middle back and "Sterling" on the bottom back.
.:. Marksman Qualification Badge with attached Rifle Bar; "Sterling" on top on the cross.
.:. German Reich Workbook issued 1940; previously used by a German worker, has handwriting and some stamp marks inside of it.
.:. 1938 Silver 2 Reichs Mark
.:. 1938 Copper-Gold plated 1 Reichspfennig

.:. Good Conduct Medal Bar
.:. 5 War Ads From Evening Post
.:. 2 Yank: The Army Weekly Magazines
.:. 6 ration books and 4 ration certificates

That's how it starts....a little here...a little there...pretty soon you'll be ate up like the rest of us. It's a sickness.

Every beginning is dificult and sometimes hard, but here you have to take it easy, and choose your field of collecting. This will prevent you a lot of problems at the time of selecting/buying the next item of your collection.

I know it is pretty difficult to start focusing on one thing (or more if money allows) but it will come with time. I know it pfrom my own experience. It is hard to realize that one can not have it all
