    Parachutist vs Falschirmjäger

    Hello lads,

It begins in jan/feb 1945. The 6th Airborne Division holds the line between aprox Venlo-Roermand at the Lower-Maas river in Holland. The opposit party are the Falschirmj******228;ger Battalions from Division Erdmann. In the snow and extreem cold recc patrols from both party's are send out to the other side of the river! elite against elite.
This displays a tunic from Blackadder and me, from both our collection!

that Luft tunic is killer! one day, week, month, year, decade... I want to get one exactly like that one. I love the yellow piping around the collar that some of these have. I know this isnt the place but can someone please tell me briefly why some have the piping there and many others dont. truely love that one. Glenn

        Nice display with great tunics.
It's indeed a fantastic LW Fliegerbluse.

Often the branche-piping were removed as per 1940-regulations. (like the national decals on helmets)

thanks for the compliments ya all. And yes this tunic came from TK's collection and I'm pretty damn proud to say that I'm the owner now.
The cool part of this set-up is that Fallschirmjager meets Canadian Para batt in this set up.
same tunic, same branch different country and Axis VS Allied !
At first, I thought the Idea was bad, but when it finaly stoot there, I thought " not bad at all !!! "
We are thinking of putting one FJ behing my tunic as is Jeroens Canadian Para standing behind his tunic.
you can see the lines of it on the right..

in the middel, my truppenrad and on the left the Grune Polizei bad-ass...
