A fascist generation needs a fascist education.
School had a central part in this project.
Let's see some school report cards
PS My family name is Fabbrini. Can you guys recognize something similiar in this document? Could be my uncle Mario, for example ...
This is a different one made in the 30's
As you noticed, in the first one Royal house symbol and fascist symbol.
In this one only fascist symbol and the name of the National Institute for Balillas, l'Opera Nazionale Balilla. That means that the Fascist gouvernement has become a dictatorial regime.
In the 40's the central theme was the war. Propaganda followed this need and the motto was: Vincere! Got to win. Well, you all know the rest of the story ...
Let's see a badge of the Opera Nazionale Balilla with Duce's head and the Motto: Se avanzo, seguitemi (If I advance, folow me).
The other one is a badge for a celebration of the Gioventu' Italiana del Littorio (GIL), a very nice one
What we got here are a tinnie for NCO's of the MVSN (Milizia Volontaria di Sicurezza Nazionale), the Guards of the Fascist Revolution, a tinnie for the Opera Nazionale Dopolavoro and another one for GUF, the Young Fascist College Students
Here we have an enamel badge of the Opera Nazionale Balilla, an enamel badge for the Madri Rurali (Rural Mothers), to thank all the women that worked in agricolture and made corn to feed the Homeland, and a tinnie of the Interbational Society Dante Alighier, for the promotion of italian facist culture in the world.
This is a well known fascist medal; the medal for the mothers with more than five children.
A ribbon for every child and the payment of a money prize for every baby-
The medal is in a very light non ferrous league.
Opera Nazionale Balilla organized summer and winter vacations for the sons of poor families (almost all the families in Italy in those years! )
In these private rare pictures we can admire the Prince Umberto of Savoy and the Leader of Opera Nazionale Balilla going togheter visiting a Colony in summertime.
