    My future display cabinet...

My co-moderator has chastised me on the phone for my lack of pictures in this particular forum. It’s not that I don’t want to participate, it’s that I am literary building my cabinet. As with every project it’s taking longer than I thought, but I work on it daily and progress is being made. It’s a very big cabinet/bookshelf, so naturally it will take some time to do right. Here is but a small part of it, while drying this afternoon...

I might be able to go faster, but of course my "helper" mostly just looks...

(and may eat oak if not carefully watched ).

He looks like a hard worker.....

These are the moments you will love to remember. I look forward to seeing the finished product. Will it be for Third Reich items only?

      Take Care,

Thanks guys. Yes, it's big (10 1/2 feet wide, 6 1/5 feet tall), and it will be for my collection only. Of course some of it will be for storage, some parts are covered, others are for some books... you'll see soon!

Pictures of my car? May be I'll post some in Die Kneipe, but it's really nothings too special (a 328 I).

Rich, it's the Triumph Spitfire that is peeking from under the covers, in the winter the little English cart "sleeps".

                    Seba, Seba, Seba!

A German car??? Tsk, tsk, tsk!

And tomorrow you will tell me you drink French wine and eat your Wiener sausages with French mustard?

                    Just joking, babies!

Looks like the big efforts will pay off when that cabinet is finished!

                    Cheers, Frank

                              I, for one, am shocked.

I didn't realize you had any talents or abilities beyond tinkering with the innards of computers and such.

(Errrr, it IS kind of big. You DID measure the doorways and all, didn't you?)
