    Sani Unteroffizier Display

Hi Gents and Happy New Year !
Please let me share with you this torso display.
It is a WWI veteran Sanität Kompanie Unteroffizier.
The jacket is not a HBT material made but a nice combat summer Heer jacket issued to troops in Balkans or South of France or Normandy as well theater of operations. The jacket is 1942 dated. It was found in the West of France some months ago. The jacket is untouched. I just add ribbons, SA SportAbzeischen and WWI Wound badge.
The Red Cross armband is mint unissued.
The Y strap is mint unissued.
Note the Pertrix hand flash light and the old ReichsHeer belt buckle.
The others garments are Gas Mask with Gas Plane, mid-war breadbag, 1938 dated canteen, mint unissued 1940 dated mess kit, medical pouch, leather belt with Reichsheer buckle, and a 98K bayonet.
Hope that you like my job.
    Respectfully.
    UWO.

      Nice setup Uwo .

But are you sure that the waffenfarbe of those straps is medical? It looks rather transport from those pictures...could be due to the flash though. Were the schoulderstraps with the uniform when it was found?

      Cordialement

        Hi Jan,
yes it is due to the flash. I am 100% sure that the waffenfarbe is medical one.
One of the two shoulderboards was with the uniform when it was found.
By chance I should buy another one which match well.

Transport waffenfarbe is more light blue near gray.

Uniform was found in a house which had be a medical place during mid 1944.

        Regards.

Close up pictures from the one shoulderboard I buy to add to my uniform.
I buy it from Bill Shea, The Ruptured Duck some months ago.

                Work in progress...

                Hi Gents,
Few weeks ago I found on my local fleamarket these two pieces of German wooden out panels.
After having talked with the bargain seller, I learned that these two panels came from the same house as my Sanitäter Unteroffizier jacket come from some months ago.
Unfortunately, they are only two pieces of panels. They were cut and re-issused by the civilians after the war.
They indicate the direction of the KRANKENSTUBE and maybe they were on a wall or near a streets crossroads.
I think that they were picked up once the town was liberated by the US Army 5th Infantry Division "Red Diamond".
These panels indicate the exact direction of the ORTSKRANKENSTUBE DER FLIEGERHORST-KOMMANDANTUR.
I was happy to be able to buy these remains of panels for only the average of 10 USD.
They are a very nice addition to my Sani display.
                Respectfully.
