Hello my name is Erik and I just joined the forum. I have a few things to show. I don't have a lot cause I just sort of started.

My son joined this weekend after he completed all his chores as we agreed. Since he can't post pictures yet, I'll post for him for now. Here is Erik Mott and his collection.

I hope you like my collection. I have three medals that cost a few bucks. I like looking at all the other collections. Maybe one day my collection will be as good as the ones I see here. I have to do a bunch of chores for a LONG TIME.


Maybe my friends Erik and Cody will join too. Mr. Scott, or Greg S. is their daddy. We've been to the Houston Show together and we went to Mr. Greenwade's house together. He's got a bunch of daggars and medals and safes. He also has a cool dog and a nice wife. She gave us all a vanilla coke to drink.

Erik, glad to see you here. VERY NICE COLLECTION! Your collection is bigger than mine was at your age. Damn it is bigger than mine up to a few years ago. I can't wait for the next show to watch your collection and my son's collection grow.

I will encourage my boys to join the forum, but they are still groaning about e-mailing the grandparents. Isn't the younger generation supposed to jump on this computer and Internet thing? I'll show them your post tomorrow they'll be as impressed as me.

Welcome to the forum- I got into collecting because of my Dad, and I have a lot of fun sharing this hobby with him, so I bet you will with your Dad too.

Fantastic Collection Erik!


So nice to see younger people involved with the hobby. I started with American and world medals too, about when I was the same age as you. I wasnt lucky enough to have a collector dad though guiding the way.

Congratulations Erik,
you have the start of a very nice collection and a hobby that will be fun and educational for you for many years! I started when I was 15 years old, and I am now 42 years old and still enjoying it all!

Remember...read all the books on your hobby you can, be patient and with a medal here and a medal there you will look back one day and wonder how your collection became so big! And always have fun too! That is the most important thing!
