    Prussian General's Spike

    Hello All,

Here is a new toy....... I have been looking for one of these for a while as the only ones that I had seen were on some of the VERY high priced dealers tables (I think we all know who they are)... With time and patience it finally paid off as it was less then half of what these jokers are asking for them.....

Now if I can find a damn tunic to go with it Arggggggg !

    Cheers

            Value

            Hey Perry,

Depending on who you talk to and whether 'they' have one for sale or not.... the value is anywhere from $4000 up to about $10,000 (I had one offered to me at $10k as it belonged to a Duke)...

            Cheers

What a beautiful helmet! And, the bust in the background looks interesting as well!

                  Hello Erich,

Here is a better pic of the Bronze in the background..... It is a Gladenbeck of Willie 1st.. Stands about 23 inchs tall and has a solid marble base... the whole thing weights about 38 pounds.... the bronze actually weighs more than the marble. It is the best one I have ever seen.. 2 of the neck orders are actually seperatly applied...... The little bronze is also a Gladenbeck of Willie 1st....

The bronze fram is of Grandpa from WW1.. He was a Sgt. with the 69th (I think.... the 'ying-yang' patch) division.. saw allot of action...

                  Cheers
