    stahlhelm badges to date

    apologise for crap pics but just wanted to show set to date and will update ever six months or so. never thought i would get into these but after reading "warning from history" i got more interested as a common soldier membership badge from ww1. the biggy is numbered 525

              Dear Chris,

              Wonderful display! At the last SOS there was a dealer/collector who had, I believe, all of the dates in one case. It makes for an impressive display indeed. Although I collect Luft I have thought of trying to get the whole series. Detlev sold a badge like your center one a few Fridays ago.

              Please keep posting them as you get them. Are yours issues? Silver?

                thanks gary, when i took a front pic i should of taken a back pic all are issued and silver except a couple if i remember rightly. when i have to open the frame they are in again i will take a rear pic.
                yes i was lucky to get the detlev piece a few weeks back

                  Nice collection for one, and for two, can you post an image of the reverse on the badges? I would like to see what differences there is in the hardware setup.
