    flew out of.
Very. very possible. Thanks to the type of missions he flew it took him nearly 18 years to get his disability from the VA because of incomplete records for his lifts. In particular the last crash that caused his most serious injuries. He had no evac slip out of Vietnam but did have records for his six months in the Phillipines detailing his injuries and then Quantico for more rehabilition. In short he was injured to include gun shot wounds, crushed vertebrae, collapsed lung, facial fractures, broken nose, knocked out teeth (which he grabbed before exiting the bird and stuck in his pocket) but couldnt 'prove' to them his injuries occurred in Vietnam since he was cross border....love the VA mind set.

He cant talk about much of those things. He only recieved his medals last year which he never knew he was awarded. If anyone has information on Col. Kendrick (sp?) I would appreciate it. My father had an association with whatever group the Col. was with.

Nice Ranger tab. I have a few other items in another box that is put
away in storage . Some 5th SF flashes and tabs, a nice in country
made "Tunnel Rat" tab and set of LRRP jump wings. Unforunately I can not
get to them for a few weeks.

My dad also does not talk much about his time overthere. In fact we only talk maybe once every 4 or 5 years ( that's a whole different story) He did show me some pictures once of a ride he took in ac130 spooky. When
those mini guns let loose at night it is pretty spectacular.
