      new info anyone?

Regarding the cigarett etui that I found near a killed german soldier.
Maybe someone got new info about meess & meess?
I have been searching internet and they were making 3 wheeled bicycles - the ones you were sitting down in a seat with the pedals infront of you. Maybe they did something else during the war?

maybe the man worked there before the war, breaked out.
and was given this cigeratecase by his employer, for years service.
it make sense as you see the logo is somekind of a bicycle with a man on it.

        best regards

How about those extra photos you mentioned 4 years ago?
The etuis doesnt look airtight at all to me, making the survival of the little inside elastic very surprising. Did you find this yourself?

              O yes

Hi! Have alot of digging pictures. Just need to go through them. And yes i found it NeXT to a german soldier. Only the helmet and a couple of bones left. Probably eaten by some animal or so. Nothing wrong with this etui. Just interested in the company name inside.

Like I said before, Alpaca made German items during WW2. I have a spoon marked Alpaca that I found in Russia.

That logo on a cigarette is a front of a runaway car

So maybe some kind of automobile club?
But I don't know how to compare it to a company that makes bicycles...

                      correct

yes, looks like the front of a car.
and to be true I am not 100% about the bicycle thing. remember searching the net about meess und meess and something regarding tricycles came up. but now I can not find it. but if there were a company called that something would show up on the internet.. I was hoping..

Alpaka is / was no company which "made german items" - its a material, some kind of silber.

Indeed correct, I always assumed it was the company name...

Apparently it is known as "German silver" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nickel_silver

Most of the "Ehrenbecher der Luftwaffe" (honor goblets) are also made of Alpaka, so it was widely used during that period.

Here is a thread that shows the markings on a goblet very well (post 6):
