Inside view of my German pattern but Slovak made civilmutze!
"Bratislava" aka "Pressburg" in German language, as stated inside the cap. Complete address info is also in German!

    Franz Kaniok
Kürschner - Kappenmacher (=cap maker in German)
Bratislava - Pressburg (the latter the German name for Bratislava)
    Schondorfergasse 56 (Passage)

Based on the maker info there is no doubt that it's a pre 1945 German Volksgruppe civil mutze,
so their symbol is appropriate ; an SS style eagle clutching a swastika on a shield as shown in the next set of images!

I agree, any militaria museum would love to slap these uniforms on mannequins for
display. Have any ever approached you for that purpose (or vice versa)?

Nicely displayed on the tunic Nick. I just saw one of these armbands on a dealer site for $350! Glad to see it in your collection for a collector to collector price!

NAD 1942 tunic + pants (both found seperetely in the USA, tunic had fake Waffen SS insignia!)
This model tunic was specifically tailored for NAD (Dutch RAD). An earlier pattern existed which consisted of dyed ex-Dutch army uniforms.
These were sometimes worn with out tabs... but mine has ghosts of collar tab insignia so these still need to be found!
