    My Iraqi Uniform Collection

    I was finally able to find a sewing form to display my uniforms. It has been a combination of my own bring backs, those of some buddies and hunting down some good odds and ends on the net. This so far has truely been a a labor of love and takes up about 90% of my collecting energy . These uniforms represent what I have completed so far, there are many many more partially complete ones that I will add to this thread as time passes. Unfortunately I still have no full mannequin so I can't show the pants but rest assured they are there.

    First up is a very simple set representing what a regular Joe may look like anytime from the Iraq-Iran War through to OIF. Nothing special, actually a bit better then most regular Army soldiers would have been equipped.

    Side shot.......pack was used for RPG's. Wish I could read Arabic so I could tell what the gasmask carrier says. The Red triangle makes me want to believe this piece is Republican Guard but without knowing for sure......

      Next up is a Republican Guard Uniform as it would look in Garrison or for everyday wear. I believe it would be the Modena or Nebecanezzar (spelling) Division. Again if I could read Arabic it would be helpful as there is writing in the Red Triangle patch.
