Chris, it sounds like you have a nice collection, I would like to see the pictures of it. Could you explain a bit about your soldbuch as I'm interested how it to two lads?

      Regards
      Phil

I meant by two different lads ...meaning they werent from the same person(just in case that question arose)

Wehrpass: Issued to a Karl Hoffmann - SS Rottenfuhrer
Soldbuch: Issued to an Unterscharfuhrer- Ludwig Graf

Sounds like a nice collection, keep at it.

Your family has a history of military careers?

On my Dads side: grandfather fought with the RAF as a rear gunner for a Lancaster (what a scary job!)
my greatgrandfather was a POW camp guard in WW1 and my grandfather #2 served in a Lancaster but in the belly turret (HOLY POOP!)

            On my moms side:

            Lancaster Pilot - Greatgrandfather
Camp cook in Korea - Grandfather
Infantry as I can remember - Ypres - Greatgreatgrandfather

            Lots of RAF members
and my dad served in the Airborne for 22 years
