          we found 9 soldiers here

just lying on the surface or just under it. one of them was lying with the head on his helmet like he was injured and then died in that position. we saw several splinter holes in the bones of this soldier.. must have been horrible..

Thank you for sharing your exploits. To you I say bravo sir. To relieve a relative's anguish after all of these years is a truly wonderful thing to do. Hopefully someday more American MIA can be found in Vietnam. Our flags for them still wave. Respectfully, Robert

                        really intresting

you see the old woman in the front with all the medals.
we were wondering if she carried all her husbands medals.
one of the latvians asked her and she told us an amasing story.
It turned out that she was a sniper in the red army fighting in the kurland-pocket and all the medals were her.
                        amasing!!!

You have an impressive collection and I think you have it displayed nicely. I like the IKEA cases

I also that that what you are doing is wonderful- helping discover and identify MIA soldiers and then giving them the proper burials that they deserve.

Fantastic display, wish i could convince my wife to let me mount a heavy machine gun and anti-tank rocket on my living room wall. Perhaps a PAK37 in the living room corner???

                            lol

                              Hi K- J,

Thanks for taking time for the pics.
Even is leather is damaged on scabbard, this is superd dagger and as you said the LW 1st dagger is the most beautiful type.

I'm also impressed by what you've done in Kurland.

That's a great story, thank you for it! As for the LW soldier, were bones found, or just the ID?
