    some Sanitäter items...

I was able to use a digital camera from a friend, so I thought I would post some pictures of my sanitäter items. Please take notice that this area of Third Reich collecting brainwashed me a couple of years ago and I'm still young, so it isn't that impressive and it can only grows!.

The items are just common things and the fact that I also 'try' to collect Heer infantrie field gear and uniforms/headgear, so please don't expect to much.

If someone has DRK/Sani stuff he wants to show please be so kind...
    Greetings to all

DRK-tunic, I think it's a parade-tunic ( I do have the trousers, but no mannequin ). The postwar tunics ( west-german) are quiet the same, but the lining is different and this piece in 100 % original...

        more small items,
especially the MG-patronenkiste with handpainted red cross (field-done). I know these are easy to fake, but this piece is straight ' out of the woodwork', one of my favorites...
concerning the gasmaskcanister, I have my doubts

I posted this picture to show you the 2 framed writings ( couldn't post them apart). They hung in a waiting-room from a medecin in Austria. Both have propaganda-sayings praising the DRK ( 1 is from Hitler, the second -beneath- is from the Befhelfsführer Der DRK, SS-brigadeführer Dr. Grawitz)

Thanks Ade, for the kind reply

Now, here are some more pictures of my other items
This is a 3 mod HBT fieldblouse, I still need some late-war Inf. slip-on schoulderboards.

Note the ' suppereservoir' with all purpose-straps on the background, I have the 2 models.

I hope this picture is not to large, this is the m43 luftfeldmütze I've posted some months ago for discussion.

                            Nice collection

                            Hello Jan
Like your collection lots of interesting stuff there, as Adrian has just commented I can see why your looking for a sani helmet .Do you have a Krankentrager neutrality pass? im looking for one my self to match to a red cross arm band, I think they will look good in a frame together. Thats a nice 40 tunic too, thats an item getting harder and harder to find ,other ranks that is and in such good condition. Its nice to see a few Good pics on my favorite militaria subject that being German infantry.

                            Keep up the good work

                            Cheers Sean

                              Hi Jan,

First I have to congratulate you on a very nice collection !

Just a remark on you Sanitaeter ... The pouches should be of the brown-type. Black pouches, as with the waterbottle, were used by the DRK. Brown were used by Wehrmacht Sanitaeter. You'll probably find a stamp like "Sanitaetslager Babelsberg" in the items you have on display.
For the brown pouches, a Sanitaeter would have used the one marked with an "S". The ones marked with "K" were used by "Krankenträger" or the stretcherbearers.

The DRK tunic you have is a normal duty one. I'll have to ask my father for any other details as he is the DRK/Sanitaeter collector of our family.

I've taken some snapshots of the items I can get hold of at the moment. My father has all the medical items in his collection, I took hold of the tunics for him.

I hope you have some use for this.
