    Kav.Regt.-5 Bust.

    I have finally hit on a method of displaying this M38 cap and insignia together, ie. on a bust. It is basically a piece of an old NVA tunic with original insignia tacked on,to give a representative view of the insignia as worn by a Rittmeister of Kavallerie Regiment-5 in the final stages of the war.
    The main ingredients for the bust are:-
    1 polystyrene head
    1 cut-down plastic female half-torso
    1 'Quality Street' chocolates tin
