To make amends, a bit more "meat and potatoes" than the early Deumer flight badges but this Officer summer uniform breast eagle set is about as mint as they come

However, to me a worn piece that managed to survive these events outside the protective custody of a QM store or forgotten in a sox drawer "back home" and came out of it showing its age and patina but no disfiguring damage (or messed with post war) is at least as worthy of attention and awe as the minty stuff
