Display Question

I got a couple of French items from a German Vet. He told me that when he was France. He took the items from French Soldiers. He did not say if they were POW or KIA French soldiers but I was wondering. Should I display the caputred french items with my German items as war booty or should I display it with my WW2 French items?

I have my USAAF and Luft items displayed together to balance out the display and to have more depth.
