Mark, there is no history behind this MoH. It came with the modern presentation case, ribbon an lapel pin and rosette.

Could you send me a photo of the MOH lapel pin? I don't think I've ever seen one of those.....I've seen the medal, ribbon and rosette, but never the lapel pin.

A great looking collection! And, as already mentioned, you are married to a very understandig wife! Mine would have gutted me if I tried to place things in the living room :-D

Very Nice collection, it's definatly something else then always the TR stuff, though I still like German Uniforms and medals more then American, yust look at the design.

Any chance that we will be seeing the items of your grandfather?

Well , i think she would throw it out of the window, if i would try and display 3rd Reich militaria in the living room. But fortunatly i'm not really interested in 3rd reich items except the few pieces related to my Grandpa.
