How is this Bob? As for the other question, it is an early em SS greatcoat, the visor would be worn high leaders of the HJ. Thank you everyone for commenting on my collection. There is no end in sight, need more .

Thanks Bob for your opinion, but as we all know SS is the most controversial subject, and these green insignias only in use for 2 weeks, then discontinued by Himmler, according to the book, by Angolia, late Dec. 1941. In Kit Wilsons book, SS Headgear, they show the same deathead, embroided, in tan. So to say they did not do that, well, we were not there. I welcome opinions, but in my opinion and where I aquired the cap, there is no doubt it is right as rain.
Pictures do not do it justice, and not here to argue over it. I appreciate your input Bob, I do not claim to be an expert. Maybe you are right, but I am happy with it, and that is what counts .

I picked up this portrait about 20yrs. ago, kind of a oil painting, not period done. Probably done in the 70`s when these paintings were the in thing. I like it to much to part with, sorry.
