Thanks Guys! I just posted some more of my P38s on the firearms forum that I got at the SOS!
I do take most of my guns to the range. I've fired just about every one at least once. Of course I have some designated "shooters" that I use to shoot more often than the others.
Believe it or not, my best shooting P38 is actually an "AC43" stack! It is a true vet bringback, with lots of "character" in it. It was taken off a German NCO who surrendered in May 1945.
However it consistantly shoots excellent, and even shoots more accurate than some of my "minty" pieces!

Matt- incredible collection! What's even more incredible that you shoot them
Just out of curiosity, what would a numbers matching, pre-May 45 production, fully functioning P38 bring on the open market?
Hello Matt,
Great stuff and what a fine collection. I will be looking for (in a few months) a pre-May 45, Walther P-38 and a standard Luger, and when the time comes I will have you help me.
BTW, I just found some photos you sent me of your old collection. Some of those photos are almost 10 years old. I will have to scan some of them for you.
Regards,
Jody
