Jacques, wonderful display. Just curious, as I love the way you displayed the medals. How would you display cased awards? Apologies if this has already been asked.

        Wonderful collection.
I was in Pretoria last November and visited the military museum in Johannesburg, but your museum is just as beautiful. Sincere congratulations.

This thread is pinned for ever in my tablet's desktop. Inspirational and informative. Thanks for sharing all your display technics. Just curious what's the story behind the union jack framed near the Para decal. Cheers, Alex

Thanx guys. The Union Jack is just a naval flag from WW2, I found locally. I once displayed cases awards in a shadow box by cutting out the excat size of the award boxes in framers mountboard and insert the cases in the holes. It actually came out nicely.

I am now specialising into campaing related items, such as Stalingrad and Cassino. Just found a GJ m36, related to Monte Cassino. J

                    Great collection and displays Jacques,

I think we have very similar tastes .
I even know we have competed for some stuff you have from butchek

Love that last officer display with the parka with rank patch.
                    Always wanted one of those.

                    cheers

Mads, Yeah you are right, the only thing that keeps us back is the money, at least for me. Maybe we should work a trade for the ss visor J

You would be right. All I have to keep the PPSH in place. J
