Bahnschutzpolizei display

Gentlemen,

Something unusual that I've just picked up from a fellow collector. I'm happy to show you my new Bahnschutzpolizei display.
We rarely get a chance to talk about that obscure organization.
It was the smallest Para-military troop during the Third Reich era. Counting no more than 4500 armed personnel and being responsible for protective the Railways. They were first under the control of the Reichbahn and were later taken over by the SS Command in 1942.

Great grouping.I wish there was more info about the Bahnschutzpolizei available.I keep looking for items at the shows but rarely see anything.
What color is the visor cap?I was told that the Bahnschutzpolizei only used one color,a medium blue,but have read in a reference book they also used Fieldgray.Do you know if they used other colors besides the blue?

I think the earlier stuff is dark blue and later stuff is medium blue..Billbert

Yes, the very early Bahnschutz Visor caps were dark blue.
Later on, they had the fieldgray color.
