        Cloth DK

Here is a cloth DK in gold for KM. I ended up selling my DK in gold for panzer to obtain this example.

            Km Dirk

Here is one of my favorite daggers by WKC. It has the orange grip and hammered scabbard which I prefer on KM dirks. BTW, the scabbard is not dented. I just wish it had the correct type of KM knot on it. I also need a nice set of minty hangers for it.

              KM car pennant

I am not really into cloth too much, but when I saw this KM car pennant I had to have it. It looks great displayed with KM war badges.

                  Km M-40

Here is a close-up of the decal on my KM M-40 by Q. As you can see it is a true KM decal and not a toned Heer.

                    KM peak caps

Here are two of my KM officer peak caps. The first cap is worn for the ranks of Korvettenkapitaen to Kapitaen zur See. What makes this cap so unique is that is happens to be French made and is made by the firm of Ste Chapeliere Parisienne. This firm made a lot of headgear for the Kriegsmarine during WWII. What I love about this cap is the even age toning to the bullion on the eagle, wreath and visor. A great favorite of mine. I hope you like it as much as I do.
                    Regards,
                    Jody

                      KM peak Caps

Here is the inside. Sadly, the sweat shield was removed. It has the typical blue interior found on a majority of non-detachable KM officer caps.

                        KM peak cap

Here is an outstanding example I just got from Gordon Williamson (you don't want to know what I ended up getting rid of to get this), it arrived on December 21, 2005 so Christmas came early this year. This type of cap was worn for the ranks of Leutnant zur See to Kapitaenleutnant. The majority of U-boat commanders wore this rank of cap with the scallop on the visor. I hope you notice the bronze NSRL pin on the cap band. This emblem was also used as a tradition badge and was adopted by crew members of the U-274. You can tell after a close examination that the NSRL emblem is original to the cap and has been on it a long, long time. This hat just screams das Boot!

Again please note how the eagle, wreath, and bullion on the visor all match in age and toning. As a personal preferance I like bullion over cellon on KM caps. Although this cap has a little bit of cellon on it, can you spot it?

                          KM Cap

The interior of the cap. Again the cap has the typical blue interior. The sweat shield is not maker marked, which is also typical of many KM caps.

Here is a close-up of the visor. Notice the twisted bullion cord between the scallop and the visor leather.

                                KM peak cap

Here is a close-up of the eagle. If you notice the eagle is bullion and the swastika is cellon. There is also some cellon thread highlights on the eagle and swastika wreath as well.
