    My collection

This is what I have left, which came from changing my interest too many times. Most of the daggers and guns and machine guns are gone. This is about 1/5 of what I had at one time.

        Hello M.A Miller

Very nice collection you've got there...

        2 questions from me

*Is it possible to post some close-ups of that m43 EM tunic ??

*In the display-case with the Kurland-cufftitles....is the breast- insignia just under the cufftitles for russian volenteers?

Thanks for sharing it with us

        Kind regards

        Jan

          Move

          Jan,
I'm going to move M-43 tunic to cloth section. I appreciate the comments as I have not had that tunic off the form for 10 years and thanks to this forum we gain knowledge every day. Thanks, Mitch

I take it that you know the "M43" tunic is a reenactor modified Swedish tunic?

              Hello M.A. Miller

Yep, Gene is correct... I also think your M43 is Swedish... that crownmarking is typical Swedish ( I have 2 of them)...and the lining is not at all german wartime...

I hope I don't tell anything new to you with this ...

              Greetings

Is that a Belgian Rexist Blood Order I see in one of those cases? Any chance of some close-up scans?

                    Rexist Blood order

Tony, you are correct. I will post a close up for you. The badge is numbered 1760, which are the only marks on it.Thanks, Mitch

Blimey, that's got to be a rarity surely? I've only ever seen pictures of Degrelle wearing one in books. I understand that Belgian SS volunteers were permitted to wear them in uniform. It's a beauty, and worthy of inclusion somewhere on the site - although what it would come under is anyones guess - Achieved Awards?

                        Walloon

                        Tony,
I agree this is rare. There is one pictured in this website under Axies allies, Foreign Legion, Belgium. I don't know whose it is, but it is numbered 1558, which is close to mine. You can also see it in John R. Angolia's " Military awards of the Third Reich " revised addition on page 400. Thanks for your interest, Mitch
