One of these days I want to find a "reasonably" price piece from the USS Constitution. When I find more I will post them. Anyone else got anything similiar?

I did once have a piece from the Constitution.. sold it as part of a consignment deal. It was a wood piece. Sorry! I looked to see if I still had a picture of it but I haven't come across it yet. But if I do...

Jump back in time - USS Constellation

I assume you realize that the USS Constellation that is preserved in Baltimore harbor is not one of the frigates built in 1797, but is of Civil War vintage? As I recall, there is evidence the 18th century frigate was scrapped in the 1850's when the current Constellation was built. This has created some political controversy in recent decades. Still a cool frigate, though. Assuming this coin was struck during one of the restorations, it would be erroneously marked.

You are correct I even heard of this over 40 years ago when I was a kid and thinking "yes, the Constitution is still the oldest".
