Here's an earlier thread on Mein Kampf from the Photo and Paper Items Forum that I think shows the slip case you're talking about. If this is the one, this Sonderausgabe (special edition) was apparently the official name for what we call the Hochzeitsausgabe. It wasn't meant for the mayor; it was meant for the mayor to present at weddings. Though my "Hochzeitsausgabe" only has a plain slip case.
