I really dig this guy above my post here Mark. I dont think Ive seen Him yet. sweet smock and grenade. life must be nice being surrounded by all these artifacts. I know they always put an inner smile on your face when your in their presence. my little collection always brings me happiness when I look it over so I can only imagine what your collection does for you. yes, I know theres alot more to life than collecting (and I do live good) but having a true hobby that is "part" of you, I dont think alot of people understand the "feeling" it gives to the keeper of His treasures.

              Mark,
You definitely have an amazing collection. One thing which really makes it stand out is the incredible mannequins which display the collection so well.

I set this lot up as it's what I'd like to see if I went to a show. We need a bit of fresh blood in NZ collecting, and if it inspires some kids to get into it, then Great!
                Regards,
                Mark.
As usually a perfect feel for manequine dressing!!! Just one question is this anorak in ital.camo just shortened version? Have you ever seen this one on the period shot?

                Success!!
                Petr.

                  Hi Petr,
The Italian camouflage anorak is not a shortened version - the mannequin is quite tall (about 6 feet 2 inches), and the jacket looks a bit short I guess
This one's fully lined as you'd expect.
Thanks everyone who's commented - I'll have a small tropical display to show after this weekend.
                  Regards,
                  Mark.

                    As promised...
I kept this display very basic with no field gear to speak of.
                    Regards,
                    Mark.

The eagle looks replaced in this picture, but it isn't. The eagle has slight 'pulls' along the top stitch line.
