Very nice. I especially liked the trio in picture number 6 - do you have any thoughts on it?

      #6 Trio

I paid all of $5. for that one, and $5. for the one beneath it.

I would like it very much to be what it looks like:

      -Eastern Front Service Medal
-Spanish Red Military Service Cross with Swords
      -Spanish Campaign Medal with Swords

Why both sets of swords are mounted sideways I have no idea, maybe smaller swords were not available.

Helmut Weitze has had on his site a Spanish Civil War ribbon bar, price is $218.

I will reiterate . . . You have to go through a lot of dung to find the rose !

I think it might be a Spanish Blue Division bar rather than Legion Condor. I've seen at least one picture of a Blue Division group mounted as a German bar.

Certainly strange about the swords though!

          File that one under DUH!

It never crossed my mind to even consider the Spanish Blue! That makes sense with the Ostfront Medal !!!!

          Hmmmmmmmm!

          Thanx James

A member of the Blue Division? But why he has no Blue Divison Medal?

            Best regards

The Blue Division Medal wasn't instituted until early 1944, so the bar could date from anywhere between mid 1942 and early 1944. The ribbon bar I have a picture of doesn't have a Blue Division ribbon on it either.
