Andy, don't be discouraged that no one posts comments. You have a nice collection of Home Guard items. Lots of people are looking, just may be that no one knows what to say as most of us aren't that familiar with the Home Guard. Why don't you explain some of the items in the collection so you can educate us?

                Uk gear.

Home guard stuff must still be around -last time I saw helmets with police on them was in the 1960's - issued to members of the then RUC.

Andy nice collection of items relating to UK war time - I would not be discouraged at all , the German gear whilst being deemed more "collectible" is not the be all and end all.

Andy, what is the helmet with the high dome under the one marked "police"? It looks very unusual.

                      Just caught this thread,
nice collection, I myself collect the odd Homefront item too.
Im a sucker for those helmets,
Do you happen to know what MLO stands for on a homefont helmet?
I thought it might be Military Liason but I have really no idea.

                      Best regards

Nice collection of homefront history. Don't see such a collection too often.

I think it is very intersting. I am ignorant of home front pieces, but like to look at the photos of everyones collection. If I am not familiar with the pieces posted, I am reluctant to post. Nice collection .
