    My Medals

My German medals, without iron crosses and two Hindenburg crosses i bought recently..

The Iron Crosses, a failed closeup From left to right: Iron Cross 2nd class 1870, two 2nd class 1914 and a 1939 2nd class. A tiny, but nice family

All of them(besides the Hindenburg crosses) Notice the travel permit, and the finnish bravery madel between the soviet awards.

I have a nice cabinet where i store my medals, miniatures and some of my guns, just toke them out for these pics..

Very nice to see your collection. I have a small group of medal collection too. Anyway from your out foucs, I still can found a mint 1939 EKII, right? What's the maker's mark?

    Cheers

Which issue is the Bronze MoL-- 1939, 1941? I have a Winter War pair with that and the campaihn medal, with large photo of the recipient-- he was here in my county in Civil Defense during OUR part of WW2. I like the silver ones, since they have the year date hallmarks.

            I have a 1918 and 1941--1942 made-- Silver, also 1918 Crosses of Liberty-Military 4th, 3rd, and 2nd.

Do you find Finnish medals over there in antiques shops, etc?

It's the 1918 model. And finnish medals are quite easy to find out here, if you know where to look Finnish online auctions, shows, antiqutie shops and vets themselves offcourse.. And yes, silver must be, if anything else, alot more prettyer
