    My family group.

    My familys group of medals, first up my fathers mothers side, my GreatGrandfathers WW1 service medals and his sons medals who would have been my Grand Uncle, he served in the 4th Inf.Btn AIF serving in gallipoli then onto the western front the large plaque is known as the deadmans penny, he was killed on the western front at Pozieres , I was able to visit his grave last year in the north of France a very sombre place. RIP.

    Now my fathers, fathers medals my great grandfather his are the WW1 service medals and victory and also his WW2 ribbon bars he was some sort of training officer.

              Great History - I hope to do something with my Grand Dad's stuff - he to was an LAC for 4th Squadron RAAF

              Do you know you can request all their service records - I did for mine & got back a whole reams worth of photcopies etc - if you need help PM me & i'll tel you all about it

                Too often you see this stuff on eBay or in the garbage...it is nice to see someone appreciating their ancestors sacrifices for all of us.
