I know this has probably been discussed countless times, but can anyone tell me where I can find nice wooden stands for my visor hats? I have seen them in stained and lacquered wood, just can't remember where... Mike

Suggestion:
Locate your nearest Target store and check the "household" section for vertical wooden paper towel holders. They can be very easily adapted for either helmet or cloth headgear use, have a professional appearance and most styles cost between five and ten dollars apiece. (I have a total of twelve in three different styles for my displays)

Hello Mike!
I use these:

They are really nice, and makes a good display for helmets. If you want to display visors I would advice you to put some soft and clean paper inside to fit them first (and protect the "diamond"). In Norway we call it "silk paper". The kind of paper florist wrap flowers in. Just make sure the paper is acidfree/non-bleached.
Best regards
Marius
(if you would like to search for similar stands try eBay, search for `helmet stand(s)`)
