Representation of an officer of the Royal Engineers, 1945

He wears:
Undated slouch hat
1945 Indian produced ‘jungle greens’ battledress Blouse and trousers
1940 dated webbing and accoutrements (blancoed green and all from the same source)
1944/45 dated jungle boots (mismatched dates but a pair)
1943 dated Calcutta made binoculars
1943 Enfield .38 Revolver
WW2 kukri (attributed to a soldier who was in the 26th Indian Bgde, 1944)

British Paratrooper circa 1945.

He wears:
1942 Dated Australian made BD trousers and blouse
1945 Dated boots
1945 Dated Denison smock
1944 Dated beret
1943 Dated helmet
Toggle rope and camo veil
The webbing is a variety of dates (WW2). Not shown but worn at the rear are water bottle, helve and lightweight gas mask. His pouches contain spare Bren magazines and No.69 grenade
He is armed with a third pattern FS knife with the scabbard held in a bayonet frog and a Sten MkV.
The beret has never had a badge attached. There are period photos to show that this was sometimes the case so I have left it without a badge
The fore grip to the sten and helmet scrim is reproduction (it’s covering post war paint)

Private purchase cap
1945 dated Bush shirt
1945 Indian made KD shorts
1945 Mosquito boots

Royal Marine circa 1945. He wears:
1943 cap comforter
1945 Denison smock
1942 Australian produced battledress blouse and trousers
1945 Royal Navy deck boots
The 3rd pattern FS knife is held in a bayonet frog

He carries a 1928A1 Thompson and a 1943 Lee Enfield .303 No4 Mk1 'Long Branch'

My interpretation of an infantryman of the Lincoln and Welland Regt who is about to go on patrol, Vught, Netherlands, February 1945.
He wears:
1942 dated British snowsuit
1940 dated helmet (I have covered it in an original piece of parachute silk, although in the original picture they appear to have a thicker cotton/linen cover)
1943 dated cap comforter
1940 dated British webbing with 1941 dated Canadian pouches
1944 dated life belt
British wool gloves
Canadian military issue moccasins
He carries a Sten MkII and a 1944 Inglis Bren
