on a customized John Nissen mannequin,
An Hauptfeldvebel die Wehrmacht
Atlantic Wall building, DIEPPE, 1943


As you surely saw, the boots are not really German but a pair of 1941 Canadian ammo boots because no German boots available for the photo shooting,
so I used what I had "in stock" which could give a closer look to a M37 German low boots...
...A capture of war recovered from the Raid on Dieppe, a year earlier..?
