Bought a nice Trikothemd and m43 tunic today in Ciney. Now the search is on for a good set of boots to finish my own project.

Got my first german mannequin as good as finished.
Bought myself a cheap mannequin for 85 euros and overpainted it cause it looked terrible. It all came out quit nice.
Still have to replace the luftwaffe breadbag and i'm searsching for a nice m43 single decal luffwaffe helmet. The shoes are Czech and i got the socks from a flee market.

Hello Giberville,
The eagle is handstitched to the tunic, not through the lining. Neither is there any sign of the lining ever been undone. The litzen and tresse appear to be applied very very nicely and I don't see any other remnants of stitching underneath the collar. I would like to study other tunics of this maker to compare but I am very pleased with the tunic and it's insignia!
So far, these are the pictures I've made. It's hopefully going to stay for a while on this mannequin as I'm really digging the setup as is.
Underneath ( imho also important ):

4th Div, thanks for the great close up shots of your nice new tunic. Enjoyed looking at them. Good late war M43 there in Italian wool. Above all, it looks superb when displayed. Was there much choice of uniform tunics at Ciney Fair? I am on the hunt for an M43 with period applied insignia. It's a bit far for me but I perhaps should make the effort one year.
Cheers
Anthony
