      I agree, I once tried to hang a helmet on a display like that until I noticed that the chinstrap was about to rip, so I decided to use a cord to hold it in possition

      It was on the right place and didnt risk the strap

        Adam, it was there only for the picture, usually is on a nice stand into the vitrine, anyway thanks for the advise .

          I should have figured you already knew better! That's why I hesitated to offer my advice in the first place.

          It would be great to display it like that though - the helmet hanging on the gear looks fantastic.

                I love this thread....I can't get enough! So with that, I have pictured my early M36 tunic (37 dated) on a mannequin in walk out dress, wearing stone grey pants with red waffenfarbe piping down the legs. I hope you all like it. Steve

                      Yes a top 5 thread here Steve! That is a really nice set up, The visor is a real looker to me which has a great worn look and the Tunic is right up to your usual standards!
                      You have a great ability to pull many nice rabbits from your hat Steve LOL!
