NO! I love him. This display represents a para who had taken part at the Mussolini-rescue at "Gran Sasso" - have a look at the original pics, and you will see they are all laughing. No wonder, as they have been told before they had taken off, 90% of them will not return.

By the way, creating a set-up is IMO not a "Mister-Universe" competition, "ugly" soldiers existed, too...

          My God

I thought it was impossible to get a live Fallschirmjägergewehr in Europe

          You're lucky man

So, your FG 42 is semi automatic, or? If I remember correct, you may own a semi automatic machine gun in Germany. Same law as in Norway.
But in Denmark we have this silly law saying, that all semi automatic weapons, except legal pistols with papers from a shooting union, may only contain two bullets...!

                I've layed my hands on live MbK's, Stg's, G43's, Ppsh's, luger's, Mp 38's and a few other weapons.

                But never a FG 42

Some day I will hopefully get that opportunity too.

Does the Bundeswehr have weapon depots containing weapons from World War II ?
I know of a bunker in Denmark containing more than 2000 M1 Carbines, both the "normal" and the para model, and other, most german, weapons.. They're all alive

                              Hey, that's NICE!

Perhaps I should work on a Luftwaffenhelferin when I am through with my recent project this year, the Felddivision-Unteroffizier in winter camo.

That's what I love in this forum: You always find good ideas and good examples from other collectors!

                              Have a nice day,
