Pleas enlighten me Niels, what’s odd about an un-issued fliegerbluse without collar tabs and shoulder boards?.

            My latest mannequin...a LSSAH soldier

            Dear all,

Today I builded-up a new mannequin: a LSSAH soldier. The pants are the SS Dot pattern (smooth cloth, no HBT), the jacket is the traditional '2 hole type' with BeVo eagle and both collar patches original to the jacket, the cuff-title was later applied. The mannequin is a very old one (30-ies?) and has a beautiful real wax head with real hair and eye-brows! The side-cap is a KM (K******252;stenart.) to which I added the insignia...I have also a nice SS one but only a size 55 and that will not fit.....which is a pity. I think it is a nice one though.....enjoy!

            Best regards,

            Coco

                  My latest setup

Veterinary officers tunic/breeches with carmesin (carmine) piping. Yeah, the visor is obviously infantry but still looking.

David Webster designed this one to grip a p-38 (which would not normally be drawn in this setting, but hey it looks cool) and its my manniquin

I like your set up a lot, but no-offence your mannequin looks like a sixties british rock star, not a German soldier . jacques

thats right Van. you have that right to outfit them as you see it. I know my Guy wont be a real version of what would be seen on a typical "front" day but like you stated, they are Our creations. they are in some ways personifications of Ourselves. (or atleast thats what mine will be. ) Glenn

by the way, my mannequin arrived yesterday. now to decapitate Him and ship the severed head to New Zealand for a make over. guess who Hes going to be visiting?

Very nice mannequin Coco and great to see your beautiful set on a display mannequin which isn't made by Pintus. To me the reference as for the display mannequins are the ones you can see at the Ambleteuse museum.
