            hi Ostfries,

Yes it is. As I understand it this is the only production tunic made specifically for Ost truppen. This ones RBN numbered on the pocket for the 1 st aid pouch. All other volunteer tunics I've seen are either stock german, modified german or captured tunics (either worn stock or modified.)According to which reference you read the cloth is either captured french stocks or cloth used for Bahnschutz polezei uniforms. Everything I've read states these tunics were just made for Ost units serving in western europe. If anyone knows I would be interested to find out which units recieved them. WR jim

Very nice tunic , I like these Ost truppen tunics, I have a ROA tunic myself, its a Dutch reissued one, along with a Dutch reissued overseas cap.

Hello Rodolfo..your displays are truely fantastic..when I sometimes get down and depressed by the state of collecting today..and all the we have to put up with in assembling our collections..I refer to your photos..the perk me up...and infuse me with new vigor and delight in collecting..seeing the tunics and ephemera displayed as you have in such realistic settings is for me what collecting in the realm..the complete "impression" is all about. Thanks!
