Spot on I had a look at a 1940 - 41 set at the weekend but they were rough,

I have a friend who wont sell me his early alloy fitting ones, which is understandable but what I am really looking for.

Wish I could find an nice early set.

I also had my early NCO set with 43 type Y straps, and hated it...took me a while before I could get a nice 1941 set, so i could have it in a nice early mid war way.....but I think for the set to be right, its a must

              Before with 1943 Y straps

              Present, with 1941 Y straps

sorry but not good light at the time I took the photo....

Hi like your set up too they almost look similar set up similar panzer units,

Your right though I must get the correct straps & also have it in mind to do a 42-43 soldier so could use them as well with other kit I have collected..

Do you have an early war Gasplane?

                    Cheers

The Greeks on the 28th October 1940 replied to Italy with a simple NO! "OXI" of the ultimatum made by Mussolini. The Italians did enter Greece but were driven back to Albania and so the Greeks were heading for Rome, that is until Hitler stepped in and saved the embarrassed Benito.
                        cheers

It is to my understanding that y straps weren't very common until 1940/41, but I could be wrong.
