    Hi Adam and O,

    ...There's no vote and no obligation to be sensible to mannequin customization, just a question of taste for each of us...but it "works" and can really upgrade some displays especially in museum and exhibition configurations...move towards a lifelike aspect is a choice.
    Also, they are here presented out of their display context and focused to their painted faces...but I never forget that they should highlight the effects worn and not the opposite.

      Nice one Thierry!

      And yes, why not invest in good mannequins? Old used mannequins that reside in collections either have cosmetic problems like scratches in the face or have a tan many Afrika Korps members would be jealous of. I think it adds a lot of character to any collection and therefor it's the final touch to your thousands of dollars in investment.

      I mean, It's like getting a huge villa with single glass windows!
