                Thanks for the comments guys.

                The helmet on the pilot is not for a jet pilot, that´s an old myth.
                It´s a anti splinter helmet developed in 1941, it saw very limited use becouse of the heavy weight and was withdrawn from production only a couple of months after it was introduced.
                I only know of 4 photos showing the helmet in wear.
