What do you think of these Jens, do they pose a threat?

Pic #29 looks dangerous! The detonator is still on it!!! Is there a hole in the detonator?

Pic #30 is a Doppelzünder 92. It doesn't has a detonator and looks save.

Pic #32 is a Doppelzünder 15. Looks also save since it was exploded like #30.

Pic #33 is a rare "Doppelzünder 92 neue Art" or "neue Form". What is stamped on it? "DoppZ 92 n. A.", "n. F." or more? Looks also save and doesn't has a detonator.

              Pic #34 looks british.

This is what I read on the fuse of pic 33

                Dopp Z.92.n.f

                Sp. 17m

Do you collect these fuses Jens?

Yes, I also collect fuses. "n. F." means "neue Form" (new type). This fuse was used for shells beginning at 88 mm and up to 150 mm as impact and time fuse. I never saw that small hole in a detonator. Is there something yellow in it? Be very very careful with it. The best would be to inform the Demineurs.

I will bury it where I found it, near the IJzer (Yzer).

No need to call any demineur, not want to answer certain question's

Just be sure that no child or whatever can find it again. Look at the pictures and cutaways at

to remember which fuses have a detonator/iniatiating charge and how it looks like. Just a tip for the future. Such fuses are, when made of brass, beautiful, a wonder of mechanic and pyrotechnic and tell you a lot about history. You can see the type of fuse and so the shell it was used with; also the maker and the date it was made. Your "Dopp Z.92.n.f" for example was made at the arsenal in Berlin-Spandau (Sp.) in 1917.

Of course, an archeologist is the next one that's going to find it in 4000 years...

Did you find that info of the dopp on the site's you gave me
