    My Truly Humble Collection

For my 100th post, I thought I would show you guys my collection. It is super small, I am still in school (Im 17, Senior in high school), and can (proudly?) say that nothing in my collection has cost me more than $200, so It is a really small collection, but I hope you guys can enjoy it.

Here are just overall pics of the two spots of items in my rooms

My Display cabinet, with my Sword (E-stand purchase) and Flag that was given to my mother by her great-aunt, a family heirloom that I hope to pass down.

Here is a small display that I have been playing with that is dedicated to the man who started me on militaria, my uncle who fought in world war 2. I never met him, but my grandfather heard that I was interested in ww2 and he gave me everything that my uncle brought back, but unfortunately his uniform was lost. He was a member of VD-1, a photo recon squadron and I have TONS of stuff from him that I will show at the end of this thread. The newspaper is a repro that I bought at a local museum, the USS Midway Aircraft Carrier here in San Diego.

Thanks for the kind words on my collection guys!!

I'll post some more pictures now that i got some time on my hands tonight (no work today!!! )

This is my Naval Career Group to a man who went from ww2 through Vietnam, some of you might recognize it, I purchased it off the E-Stand. I have researched it, and sent off a request to the National Archives, which I have eagerly awaited for about a month now, I can't wait!

Here are my uniforms, I only have 3 right now, but I hope to get alot more with your advice and help!

The first one is a real beauty, just bought it a little while ago off the e-stand. A 1 star Marine Corps General uniform. It is currently being discussed in this thread, and if any of you have any info that could help, it would be much appreciated (especially if you can find me a picture of General Richard Vogel)Here is the thread with a picture:

The Next i also just purchased from Advance Guard Militaria, a group of Armored Uniform Set, I am unsure of what division it would be, but I haven't recieved it in the mail yet. (pictures supplied by dealer)
